I highly recommend this little gem! The property is peaceful, clean, and the level of service is top-notch. The showers and washrooms are the best my wife and I have seen at a campsite. The staff are warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. The ‘room service’ is a great addition - best way to get firewood (or any other camp supply) ever!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lazy Rock. Check in was quick and easy. the staff work hard keeping everything looking great, super clean bathrooms, and excellent customer service. Its clear Kevin and the team take pride in making guests feel welcome. We highly recommend this quiet, beautiful, friendly campground.

Lazy Rock was hands down one of the best places we’ve stayed in all our travels! This small, family run campground has lakeside sites, the most spectacular views, a pet friendly beach, swimming and boat rentals at a very fair cost. The washrooms & showers are very clean. The room service was fantastic! Everything you need is brought to your campsite within 30 minutes! Thank you Jon, Charisma for making our stay so comfortable and Kevin…thank you for all the laughs and for making it so much fun! I highly recommend this place, it was well worth the 4 1/2 hour drive! We will be back!

Lazy Rock is one of those places that everyone needs to stay at, AT LEAST ONCE! The owners are awesome, kind and accommodating. I would recommend this camp ground to everyone. Situated on a "private" lake.. the fishing is fun and great, the air - so fresh, and the area is just overall really beautiful to be in. If I could go camping there everyday (screw work!), I totally would.

What a great place! Clean campground with friendly owners! They even offer room service to your site! The lake view is magical! Location is a bonus, close to many hiking trails! We love it!

So I’m an avid tenter. Let me tell u that I absolutely ❤️ lazy rock. I have stayed at provincial parks and even koa campgrounds. Let me tell you this was the best experience by far.

This was a wonderful campground. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. They even offer room service to your camper. The showers were squeaky clean with private stalls and the bathrooms were spotless. I would definitely return!

A wonderful camping experience in every respect. The campground is clean with the washrooms kept sparkling clean at all times. Firepits are well spaced and their firewood is top quality hardwood that burns easily for perfect toasted marshmallows. The lake is ideal for kayaking and swimming. Charisma was a fabulous help! We have already booked another visit!

We had another great week at Lazy Rock. It is such a great little campground and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It’s great how they have set up their online room service which can have any items delivered to your campsite in no time. The entire place is clean and quiet. We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the lake, hiking local trails and riding the VMUTS. We hope to make it back there next year.

Really Nice Spot! Right off #1, beautiful spot to stay for a night or as long as you want. Called to confirm availability before we went. Caught a couple of Largemouth Bass off dock. Jonathan was great! Anything they sell, they'll deliver to your site. Beautiful bathrooms and showers! Really well done and run camp grounds! Will stay again if we're in the area again! Really NICE FIND!

Great campground. Good sites, clean and well maintained bathrooms and showers, great staff. We stayed here twice and Kevin was wonderful! Friendly, efficient, funny and with great stories. Backed on a beautiful lake where you can get in some great fishing. Good wifi. Would happily stay here again!

I come to Lazy Rock twice a year. Always a favorite part of my summer. The setting is beautiful and the staff are friendly. Kevin will go out of his way to help you. The small town of Mattawa is only 10 mins away. I highly recommend a visit to Lazy Rock.
