Welcome to the Lakeview Chalet, a cozy and private retreat perched atop a hill overlooking the breathtaking beauty of Taggart Lake. Surrounded by maple trees, this charming chalet offers a tranquil escape in a picturesque setting. Step inside to discover an inviting interior, featuring a queen sized bed and a second bed on the loft with a fantastic view.  The space is complete with a dining table and a well-stocked coffee/tea bar for creating a variety of beverages.  Sip your morning coffee on the deck bar overlooking the spectacular lake views and enjoy the gorgeous sunrise. The outdoor kitchen beckons you to embrace the outdoors, boasting a rustic kitchen setup where you can prepare delicious meals on the premium propane or charcoal grill and be protected from the elements under the gazebo surrounded by beautiful foliage. As the evening settles in, gather around the firepit on classic Muskoka chairs, enjoying the crackling flames and sharing stories under the starlit sky. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, outdoor adventure, or simply a memorable getaway, the Lakeview Chalet offers an idyllic retreat where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature while enjoying some modern comforts.

Please note you will be required to complete our rental unit agreement form upon check-in.
There will be a $100 damage deposit due upon arrival. Cash, Credit and Debit cards may be used for your damage deposit.

Important Safety Notice for Guests with Young Children
We wish to kindly inform our guests that our chalet’s loft area, with its unique charm and appeal, is not recommended for children under the age of 8. This precaution is due to specific features of the loft, such as the low railing and steep, ladder-like stairs, which may pose safety risks for younger children. While we set this guideline with the utmost concern for the safety of all our guests, we also emphasize the critical role of parental judgment and supervision. If you have children near this age threshold, please assess their individual capabilities and maturity to ensure their safety in the loft area. Our priority is to guarantee a safe, enjoyable, and memorable stay for every guest, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. A safety gate is available upon request.

Unfortunately, our current rental units are not pet friendly. We do hope to offer accommodations for them in the future.
